Hello, Nice to meet you!

I’ve been building Family Trees and researching Family History for family and friends for over two years.

I absolutely love finding information and family stories for people, it is so satisfying finding that missing piece. It is always entertaining to hear about the relative you never got to meet, or find proof of the story you always heard growing up. Let me help you learn about your ancestors!

Meet the researcher

Corrie Ross

I’ve always loved hearing about family stories from the past!
it just made sense that when I learned about Family Trees and researching family history, that i would fall in love with it too.

Family History became increasingly important to me after having children.
I wanted the ability to tell them stories about the family members they never got to know. I took initiative, got the information that was already compiled by my maternal grandfather, and started digging. Sadly, after taking a DNA test and fixating on my maternal family history (as well as doing some pro-bono research for friends), my other grandfather passed away. I was absolutely devastated, and wanted to find a way to remain close to him.
Not too long after his passing, I learned he had also taken a DNA test, and had been trying to uncover information about his fathers side. I immediately took up the torch researching the information he never got to find, and was quite successful. It hurts sometimes knowing I can’t share my discoveries with him, but I share them with the people who loved him, and thats close enough.
Throughout all of this I learned that this is work I never tire of, and actively enjoy.

The rest is history!~

Testimonials

I wish to thank Corrie for the amazing research done on my husband’s family. She was extremely thorough and took great care in fact checking to ensure the accuracy of dates, records, certificates and important documents. All the information she uncovered brought his ancestors to life and made for very interesting and informative reading. It’s obvious Corrie loves genealogy and is extremely good at what she does.
